Maroon PR Assists Bisciotti Foundation with launch of Next-Generation Life Sciences Accelerator
Founded through a $100 million grant from The Stephen and Renee Bisciotti Foundation and in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and the Lieber Institute for Brain Development, Blackbird Labs’ mission is to help universities and investigators commercialize their academic research to build innovative companies, bring world-changing technologies to life, and create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Baltimore.

Maroon PR implemented a media relations campaign focused on securing coverage from local mainstream media — including television, radio and print — as well as business-specific and tech-focused media outlets. Maroon PR partnered with the Greater Baltimore Committee, who recently spearheaded Baltimore’s selection as a Federal Tech Hub, to host the press conference.
