Looking for expert advice to help navigate the complexities of franchising?

EFC’s Board of Advisors offers the guidance you’ve been looking for.

As a community of seasoned professionals, our Board brings to the table decades of collective industry experience to empower both our franchisee and franchisor partners alike. That means that entrepreneurs like you can now benefit from mentors, consultants, and teammates who are here to listen, help, and devise the strategies you need for success.

Because here’s the reality:

Many early-stage franchisors fail to reach 100 locations and beyond due to critical missteps in the early stages of brand development.

EFC helps our partners find solutions earlier, offering accelerated strategy implementation, vendor connections, and brainstorming sessions that lead to increased revenue, decreased expense, and more expansive development.

So, whether you’re a franchisee seeking operational insights or a franchisor looking to scale your business, the symbiotic relationship among our partners enables us to leverage their shared knowledge for success at every turn.

Let’s make some introductions:

Rob Durr owns two highly successful Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spas and a thriving massage school. With a background in performance analysis and tool development, his keen eye for operational excellence is an invaluable asset to our advisory team.

Jay Wagnon’s extensive experience spans finance, marketing, real estate development, and multi-unit management. He played a pivotal role in establishing Sky Fitness & Wellbeing and has successfully managed and developed numerous franchise locations, including Orangetheory Fitness and Pizza Hut.

Brian Hertz is a former CPA turned multi-unit franchise owner, having ventured into Massage Envy, Phoenix Salons, and Amazing Explorers preschools. We’re grateful to have his entrepreneurial spirit and financial acumen on board.

Jill & Lucas Sanchez have over eight years of experience managing Orangetheory Fitness franchises and bring a wealth of knowledge in site selection, build-out processes, and team culture development. Their combined expertise in fitness and real estate is a significant resource to EFC and our partners.

Karen Bentlage’s entrepreneurial journey includes co-owning and operating Future Industries and diversifying into European Wax Center and Massage Envy franchises. She is also a certified EOS Implementer, working with leadership teams across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Chris Labishak is a fitness industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as the Area Developer for Pittsburgh with five Orangetheory studios. His leadership roles in the Orangetheory Franchise Advisory Council highlight his commitment to excellence and innovation.

Our advisors have experienced life-changing success, and now they’re investing their capital and expertise to help our franchise brands grow. We’re thrilled to have these incredible people on board and making an impact with our franchisees and franchisors.
